Interfacing Zune Software with your Xbox 360

Ok, if you already have the Zune software you can use it to share media with your Xbox 360. Beware, the installation of the Zune software requires a “Genuine Advantage” check. I’ll post more about “fixing” that when I have some more info on it. So on to the tutorial.

1.) Open up your Zune software

2.) Enabling Media Sharing

  • Click Options, Library, Media Sharing.
  • Select Share my media.
  • Check the media types you want to stream to your Xbox 360 console (video, audio, pictures).
  • Choose whether you want to Share with all Xbox 360s or Only share with these Xbox 360

3.) Setting up your Xbox 360

  • Navigate to the Media tab
  • In the Media section, select Music, Picture or Photos
  • >Select Computer
  • Navigate through the media on you computer and select the media you want to play

Now you should be good to go! Another way to get media from your pc to the Xbox 360.
